A mulher e a galinha
Uma viúva tinha uma galinha que botava um ovo por dia. Ela pensou que, se desse à galinha mais cevada, ela botaria dois ovos por dia, e aumentou a ração. Mas a galinha ficou gorda e já não podia botar nem mesmo aquele único ovo por dia.
Moral: A fábula mostra que a ganância pode fazer perder o que se tem.
