Modal verbs   We use modal verbs to show if we believe something is certain, probable or possible (or not). We also use modals to do things like talking about ability, asking permission making requests and offers, and so on.

Enunciado:

All the sentences from the board have modal verbs. Select them according to the ideas (obligation, possibility, prohibition) they transmit.

 

1- You must wear school uniform.

2- You might do tests and exercises in pairs.

3- Your car must not go on when the traffic light is red.

4- You have to respect the traffic signs.

5- Drivers can’t talk on cell phones while driving.

6- We may be lost in this city. Let’s buy a map!
