( ) FRANKLIN: If I ever want to go to a really great restaurant, I always go to Natalie Coughlin. If I want to laugh, I’ll go to Jimmy Feigen or Ryan Lochte. I’m really close to Cierra Runge, we swam together for a year, which was super special.
( ) FRANKLIN: I’m up at 4 a.m. making breakfast, then we’ll swim from 5 to 7 a.m. Then we have a few hours of down time before we swim from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. After that, I’ll grab a quick lunch and lift weights from 1 to 2 p.m. I’ll either have Pilates or physical therapy for an hour. We’re done [with training] by 3 or 4 p.m. and I’m usually in bed by 8 p.m.
( ) FRANKLIN: I have around five small meals a day with snacks. I’m constantly eating!
( ) FRANKLIN: I make a lot of pad Thai with veggie noodles. My favorite unhealthy foods are muffins, donuts, and scones.
( ) FRANKLIN: My major in college is psychology with a minor in education.
( ) FRANKLIN: I love hiking and anything outside. I think it’s important to be comfortable spending time with yourself. I have no problem going to a restaurant and getting a table for one.
