Terrário, microjardim – conheça o que é
Também chamado de microjardim ou floresta encapsulada, o terrário é um sistema em miniatura mantido dentro de um recipiente de vidro. Ele é composto por um recipiente de vidro, plantas (samambaias, musgos, suculentas, cactos), terra e pedrinhas.
A descoberta, que deu origem ao sistema, ocorreu no século XIX quando o médico inglês, Nathaniel Ward, fez uma experiência colocando pupas de borboletas e terra em uma caixa de vidro fechada a fim de observar a metamorfose dos insetos.
No entanto, o que ele viu foi o surgimento de espécies de plantas que sobreviveram encapsuladas. Em função disso, esse sistema autossuficiente foi batizado de Caixa de Ward e antecede os terrários modernos de hoje.

This time, he's built the concept of his 2013 documentary, Sound City – in which he brought heroes from Stevie Nicks to Tom Petty back to the L.A. studio where they made some of their most classic LPs – into a cross-country road trip of an album. During the past year, Grohl traveled to eight great American cities with an HBO crew, interviewing key figures ranging from punk icon Ian Mackaye in D.C. to Willie Nelson in Austin, and soaking up inspiration for Sonic Highways.
